I do not have the mogens book, but yace is completely
annihilated because it has bad luck against diep that

  a) it plays very passive
  b) it's tactical not so strong
  c) it doesn't take action like nowadays commercials all do.

playing passive against diep is not the way to play against it,
it will find a positional pattern and win!

I played against yace not too many games but score was about the same
as the score against patzer: 80%.

I was quite amazed btw that i got such a huge score against patzer.

Note in these tests i used the Carlos book.

Patzer was playing under chessbase and it had learning turned on,
diep doesn't have learning. Yace i don't know whether it learns or
not.

Anyway in all the tests i have diep put at random book, meaning it
plays all moves which are >= 10% chance having.

tournament book it only picks the highest rated move. this is why
i can't post the Pesce games here. I think of it that both programs
play a bit passive.

Note that the real trick in all these games is that i use fast hardware
and slow time controls.

Patzer is real strong at a bit faster time controls!

Diep is a joke IMHO at fast time controls, but amazingly i got third
in world championship blitz now (together with Rebel).

Won from Quest in the blitz for example, so some small depth searches
beating an opponent getting 11/12 ply :)
