It is ludicrous to claim that Crafty is commercial.  Crafty is available under
the GPL.  This means that anyone can sell it, but the source must be available
for nothing.

As long as Bob is not receiving significant money for it, it is not commercial.

The professional/amateur distinction is always fuzzy.  There are lots of
amateurs who have taken money for their programs, but are still considered
amateur by the ICCA.  Crafty is not one of these.
