This was exactly what I believed before the first post because I never heard
that there are test positions from deep blue games but I assumed that people
who claim that there was a mate in 18 from deep blue games may know better than
me.

The position is clearly a forced line with no quiet moves and the proof is the
fact that chessmaster8000 can solve it in 2 seconds.
