This is my conclusion after what I have read from posters >like Bruce and Bob who play on ICC. The chess servers are fun. I encourage everyone to connect. You can have all sorts of problems beating people who adopt various tactics, but you can code for that, and it'd help your real customers because they get something that understands how to avoid their favorite tricks against other computers. I know you like longer games. It's pretty hard to get these, but people would probably still line up to play an automatic Rebel running on a fast machine, even at long time controls. You'd probably catch a bug now and then, or get an idea, even if you played blitz games. bruce
