  Hello Peter,
the problem with Pierre Nolot's tests is that a program might find the
good move for bad reasons. 1.Nxh6!! is supposed to be a winning move.
If a program finds this move but thinks that black is better, it might change
its mind after one hour, 24 h or even one month...(don't laugh, Pierre is
very patient and has already seen that!). Even if the evaluation is positive,
the program may change its mind after. For instance, my program Capture finds
Rxf7!! (test n° 10) in less than 2 minutes with a positive evaluation.
But if you let it run, you'll see that the evaluation goes down later and
Capture wants to play another move. You have to wait a long time until
it wants to play Rxf7 again.
