Do you have any data to indicate that cooling an Athlon to _any_ temperature
would result in switching times low enough for 3GHz operation? Kryotech
generally gets a couple hundred MHz with their specially sorted chips and
cooling hardware. Not 1.6GHz.

A CPU with a 20 stage pipeline will run faster than a CPU with a 10 stage
pipeline, unless the former was designed by complete idiots. The Athlon will
never win a MHz war with the P4.
