Shredder 532 was the first version of Shredder being incorporated into the Chessbase environment. So I suspect they were eager to release a version in a shredder environment asap. My guess would be that upgrades to shredder would be anual at best and would be released in the two environments, ie the original Shredder interface and the chessbase interface. Just my two penneth.
