There are _NO_ such thing as Atlon MP 1.4Ghz chips. I took a look at one today,
and it has a rectangle die, while the MP dies are square. Once again, it's a
1.4Ghz AMD Athlon, but it was not intended to be used on a SMP machine.

Actually he works in Quality Assurance, and all he does is test AMD products all
day.

You cannot overclock the any of the MP760 Tyan boards.

"AMD Athlon™ MP Model 6 Processors Supported in Multi-Processing Systems

AMD Athlon™ processors, including those based on the Model 4 core, and AMD
Duron™ processors are not tested, supported, or intended by AMD to be used for
operation in multi-processing platforms. AMD Athlon MP Model 6 processors are
the only processors currently supported by AMD for use in multi-processing
platforms."

Customer service with a lot of computer part manufacturers have gone to hell
nowadays. I guess when the only good processors in the world are AMD and Intel
(for x86 systems) you can pretty much do whatever the hell you want, and people
really cannot do much about it. Sad but true.
