(106 / 1.7) * 2 = 12, 125 > 120

Where exactly did I screw up the math?

And how are these numbers supposed to prove that the K7/1.2 is faster than the
P4/2.0 anyway?

Personally, I'd rather trust benchmarks that people besides you use (i.e., not
Diep) that involve the actual chips in question. The Tom's Hardware article does
exactly that. And the K7 didn't win a single one of those tests.
