Ed is mixing apples and oranges.  The T3 is _not_ a "cray".  It is an alpha-
based machine made by Cray.  The actual Cray CPU is far different from the
alpha, and will simply blow the alpha away on a cpu to cpu direct comparison.
Of course, hundreds of pocket calculators will look very fast...
