I agree that deeper blue had an advantage against kasparov but I prefer to see if machines can beat kramnik under the same situation that kasparov played before playing under better conditions. I think that better conditions should be allowed only after kramnik lose one match. I suggest the following: match 1:kramnik only knows that he plays against the machine and is going to know the name of the machine only after the match. The machine cna be Fritz,shredder,Junior or some union of them when another program is used to decide which machine to trust. If kramnik is losing then match 2: kramnik against the same machine that is not avaiable to the public but only after this union proves itself in matches against other super GM's like anand and kramnik can use the games to learn the machine. If kramnik is losing again then match 3 is going to happen after this machine becomes commercial and the programmers have rights to change only the oprning book. If kramniks wins again then a 4th match when the programmers are allowed to change nothing. Uri
