Well, yeah, that's one way to go.  The top rated computer on ICC right now, that
plays ALL accounts (plays computers up to 450 points below him) is an AMD
1.4Ghz.  (Using Gambit Tiger.)

So if you're going to use Tiger, there is _NO_ reason to spend the money on a
dual system, because Tiger doesn't use SMP.

If you're going to use a "Deep" program, than a 2x PIII system would work, but I
believe an AMD 1.4Ghz would be cheaper.

All depends on what you plan on using, doing, and how much $$ you got to back up
your wants.  :)
