Having joined the Champions club at Kasparov.Com. I have had the chance now to play a few simul games against some strong Grandmasters. I don’t enjoy blitz chess, but love to play standard time control games. I am a fair player having beat expert players in tournaments, and USCF masters in some simul games(when I was younger and better). Playing against GM players is a whole other level!!. I have been crushed in every game, the best I have been able to do is hold out 44 moves. The reason I bring this up is, I now have more respect for how strong the Computer programs must be to draw or win against someone with a GM in front of their name. Even playing in a simul against 9 other players the GM’s don’t miss any slip on my part. :(
