Why do you quote a paragraph where a third person says that it's _possible_ that Nemeth uses trial and error? Strange argument. Even if he did, a significant part of the game of chess is based on trial-and-error. At least when I play ;-). There's nothing conspicuous about the games unless they're consist of takebacks and peeking at evaluation. Nothing I've read suggests that IIRC. Regards, Mogens
