Error-free seems to be the test suite found at Steffen Jakob's site by Jouni Uski: http://www.jakob.at/steffen/chess/tests/endgame.html Well, and then I have 6 pawn endgame positions posted by Peter McKenzie some while ago here :-) (I think one is wrong, and at least one is very difficult). However, I have the feeling, that many endgame positions are hightly tactical. Often they are even "anti-knowledge". I'd like to know about positions, that are too deep for a search, and that must be solved by knowledge. Regards, Dieter
