Dear CCC, With PC prices dropping faster that a rock on Jupiter, we must all go out and buy new computers. Like Torstein, I bought an AMD 1400 Mhz machine because I got it at a good price--$1020.00 US. That was a special sale. It is already out of date because the new Via KT-266a motherboard moves data at a 10% faster rate than the "old" mobo. The old videocard is half as fast as the ATI 7500 that came out this week. So the secret to buying computers is to get a fast machine with some older technology. Go out and get one of these fast AMDs and don't feel too bad that you are getting obsolete technology.
