I just woke up, and don't feel like doing that calculation. (I have a headache, and I dread looking at those bills!) The PIV is no slouch. Anyone who tells you different is lying. It's just as expensive as hell. The memory, 2 CPU's, cooler for both CPU's, and the mobo where aroudn $2k. (With the $800 mobo being the largest part of it.) The AMD 1.4Ghz with everything mentioned aboove: less than $800. (With a GB of _good_ ram.) So if you were looking for value, I think you'd know where to look. Also, the AMD seems more stable so far.
