Roy answered well your original question.
I want to add that Chess Tiger for PocketPC will be available at the end of the
year, and that what you are planning to buy is not a "Palm". It's a PocketPC
handheld, and has nothing to do with "Palms".
You can use all the Palm software only on PalmOS devices (the OS developped by
Palm inc).
Looks like you are buying something without really knowing what's available! :)
