The very fact that you are not ready to take this job is a strong reason
I have to vote for you. I mean, the more tolerant the better. And if you
enjoy CCC you may as well do what it takes to make it work properly.

Look Fernando: in 8 months we, the current moderators, deleted 3 posts
and showed two cards. Not all that much, don't you think? In my opinion
it is not such a difficult task. Moderators must take care of whatever
is disruptive in a computer chess forum. The basic formula would still
be CCC = RGCC - insults, no censorship involved.
