It is possible that it is not so simple.

If chessbase were smart enough to give kramnik a book that includes all the
possible games of 6 plies then they may avoid his preperation only by changing
the weights of the moves.

It is even better to give him every move in the first 40 plies as a book move
but the problem is that this book is going to be too big to remember.
