you see by my post how my program analysis differs from some here.
they are doing a single post game position analysis. i noticed this had
different results. i am trying to start as much before the analyzed
position as the program will allow, not running in the analysis mode.
i am running in regular game play mode. this decreases move
time for the analyzed position, sometimes by very much.
conclusion: todays programs can see 26. f4
conclusion: todays programs can see 37. Be4
next i will change deep fritz parameters to try to find a setting
that will play both of these moves.
shredder5 sees 26. f4 in tournament time control
gambit tiger 2.0 sees 26. f4 in tournament time control (sees much quicker)
deep fritz 26. f4 will not play f4 in game play,
or in analysis mode.
shredder5 sees 37. Be4 very quickly and stays with Be4
gambit tiger 2.0
wants more aggressive 37. Qb6
deep fritz wants also 37. Qb6
shredder5 1500 mhz hash set at 184 megs
default settings
gambit tiger 2.0 1000 mhz hash set at 96 megs
default settings
