Not sure exactly what you're talking about here.

I am guessing you mean, "is there software to connect to a chess server using
windows 2k."

If so, yes.  ICC has their BlitzIn which works.  And of course, the faithful
WInboard, which will connect you to pretty much any ICS in the world.  It too
runs fine on Win2k.
