Since it is now clear that Deeper Blue will never play again, why not ask the team members to disclose what happened in the run up to, and during, the 1997 match against Gary Kasparov? It's too late to damage IBM's reputation now, and it will all come out eventually anyway. The question I think that most people would like answered is: what changes were made between game 1 and game 2? Anyway - at least 2 books have been written about the competition. It would be really nice to hear the story from the DB team's side.
