And third, even if he had thought about such ideas, he would have known that
under match conditions (that is: without seeing what the computer is thinking,
and without the possibility to go through some trial-and-error process usually
necessary to win some essentially unsound line) he would lose more than win by
trying to put them into practice...
I'd say that the same would be true for Nemeth, were he to play a match against
a strong machine equipped with a dedicated anti-nemeth-book under controlled
conditions.
