Hallo, FYI, I use a different method... I use Windows Explorer and substitute the personality I want to use for Chessmaster.cmp. I just rename them. For example I rename the original Chessmaster.cmp to something like Chessmaster.cmp-original, then rename the desired personality as Chessmaster.cmp. That way the software thinks it is still using the original Chessmaster personality but it is really using my desired personality. I believe that bypasses several problems, including the one where multiple engines are running which slows down things greatly. Note that you can check to see if multiple engines are running via Ctrl-Alt-Delete. Each engine running shows up as "the King". There should only be one "the King", or the speed of each is greatly slowed. I consider the running of multiple engines simultaneously to be a "bug", however they wouldn't admit to that and said there is some obscure reason for designing it that way. I didn't buy that argument... WP
