You'll get back on some statements then!

it's sure true that the S2460 is a cool alternative now because it doesn't
require the stupid power supply.

You won't get the special power supply for the S2462 for $100 btw.
Nowhere i could get it for under 460 dutch guilder, which is nearly $200.
