what i was talking about vincent was updating my chess gamer.
all of my cards are the latest, so no problem there.
my case is custom, i have pressurized it, excellent filter, and
moves major air in and out. this case is the tall server model,
with hinged side doors. purchased from gamepc.
my hard drive is a seagate, badfast barracuda.
when i bought my 1400 t-bird a while back i bought a 450 watt
atx, dual fan , enermax, power supply.
so all my parts are ok for this upgrade.
all i need is the list below.
i will use my present 1400 t-bird processor, so i only need one more.
i am presently using the swiftech MC462 cooler with the sanyo 80 cfm
fan. i think this copper base is too big for the tyan board.
so i have used the kodiak cooler before, and like this very much.
the kodiak comes with the adjustable fan speed control, works good.
so you will see two kodiaks in the list below, this will give me one extra.
but you have to be careful with step-up thermodynamics, i think they
    might be closing down.
you can see this parts list is from bzboys.com. i cant use my present
   sdram.
so it seems anyone can upgrade a system similiar to mine for about
$900 us. 2800 mhz amd 768 megs ram
