If you send me $1500, I'm pretty sure I could build this system. :)

But I don't have that much money right now - I only have a few hundred, which I
will use to upgrade my current computer.  I'm trying to decide now whether I
want to get a dual Athlon, or get a single Athlon, but wait for the KT266A
chipset, which shows in benchmarks to be significantly faster than current
Athlon chipsets.

Believe what you want.  I looked up the prices myself, from more than one
source.  I can get it for $94 + shipping.
