I imported "high quality" games, from various places. There were about 50,000 of them. I knew there were bound to be bad lines, so I put the book on random, and let it run on FICS for about a week straight. In one of my first games, I was mated in 12 moves. And in book. Books, especially those with over 25,000 games, are almost impossible to weed down. I have been using the same book for over 2 years with Fritz, and am now using it with Deep Fritz. I still see myself come out of book down 1.00 or so, when using the book unoptimized. Not very much, but I do still see it. And that book has 80,000+ games. And probably 15,000 games of learning.
