its just a multi step hand polishing process.
with the quality that i have found in todays coolers,
i have been starting with 600 grit, then going to 1500 grit.
there are also different grades of jewelers compounds that work
very well. my favorite is the "6a" compound that is rated at
1000 grit. it has a paste consistency that i like.
