I see nothing wrong with this, since this is how people learn. If you feel there is too much bandwidth devoted to this, then perhaps CCC could actually show some advantage over Usenet, since a FAQ posted here under a link would not "roll off" and need to be reposted every week. Then the simplest answers could be answered, and people when they joined could be requested to read the FAQ, which could be updated when new questions pop up. Of course, getting someone to write the FAQ would be a big request, since a good one would take some time. kp
