Since the code is readily available, this should be easy
to check. The speedup for 9 is with shared memory, the 6
(actually 5.7) is for local memory (not shared at all) and
the 7 for a combination (deep hash entries transmitted over
network). The crafty version was, IIRC, the one for the
Jakarta WMCC, so it certainly shouldn't be a broken one,
although perhaps a bit more aged by now.

If someone has access to a cluster, we can just as well
test rather than to speculate whether the numbers are made
up or not. Given that this was supervised by Schaeffer,
Marsland and Campbell, I'd doubt it.
