Ok, you are right. I mean Steve, Bruce, Don, etc. CCC is not for talking
anything else but chess computer stuff and only occasionally and not so
purposely another thing. So, I will abide to that rule in general as in
fact I have ever done, 99,99% of the cases, except lately. Nevertheless,
I ask you to keep in mind that what Steve call rambles and what other
call off-topic or even piggish matter are the kind of things that can
happens and will happen and I would n’t want to think that each time
that something of the sort happen a censor -inclined guy will tell me
“hey, Fernando, you are off topic...” I have been in mathematic academic
meetings -I am also a fan of that stuff and I have some studies about, M
level- and no one asked special permission to tell loudly a dirty joke
between a session dedicated to tensor calculus and another to fractals
maths, not the joke was ever told by people hidden in the rest room. I
suppose something similar could be tolerated, then, here and there, in
this site. Not each time, but sometimes. Yes, because as Steve said, an
this is the essential argument for me to comply, computer memory address
are scarce and so we must limit ourselves to the purpose we are here.
So, I apologize to David Gomboc if he felt hurt or bothered and to any
other that for any reason has felt that my last post could be damaging
to the site spirit. Specially I want to thanks Don Dailey, who ever has
been very friendly in the content and style of his posts send to me.
And respect to my nomination, I am really amazed that still there is
people insisting in me being one of the candidates. Well, you got it: I
will be just for the sake to carry an amount of dissension and quarrel
in a “moderation” chamber if ever I result elected. Nevertheless, my
favorites to the posts are Don Dailey, Thorsten Czub and Bruce Moreland.
Bruce tend to be not so tolerant with me in his post of reply when it
happens, but I recognize a good, very capable and honest guy when I read
one.
Cheers
Fernando, the apostate.
