Hello Vincent!

In this position white has two strong moves. One is the best move, other is
the next best move.

My question is: what isr the best move (not next-best)?

Ok, best move is 1. Re1! (++-)

The next-best move is 1. Nxh6 with the Variation:

1.Nxh6 gxh6 2.Qh5 Ne5 3.dxe5 Qd7 4.Rd1 Bxc2 5.Rxd7 Rxd7 (+-)

Regards,
Eduard
