You're right the GUI isn't the problem for Ed - it's a problem for his potential customers. If sales fall too much due to lack of Windows GUI then Ed may not have the resources to continue developing the engine. As for Winboard or UCI this may be Ed's only solution but it's hardly ideal and the most a Winboard engine has sold for is Gandalf 4.32 at $30 - no huge money. Steve
