Some quick comments:
- Within URLs please use "/" instead of "\".
The former works on all platforms, the latter not (on my Linux I had
  to edit all your files)
- URLs are case sensitive, in principal. Use either "Images" or "images",
and stick to your choice. (edited that also)
- IMHO it would help to state the path (series of moves) that lead to
a position (as contained in the URL) explicitly within the HTML page.

- Where text (moves) is presented in a column I prefer a constant width font

Otherwise it looks quite fine.

I have had a similar idea (hirarchical HTML representation) for the sometimes
huge solution trees of Chest, but have not yet implemented it.
The idea is definitely appealing.

Thanks for sharing!

Heiner
