If I were Kramnik that wouldn't matter.  I wouldn't play it there. I wouldn't
play it in Kabul.  I wouldn't play anywhere in Libya... or in Syria...  or
any of another half-dozen places over there that might be subject to anti-
terrorism attacks...

There are plenty of places where that isn't a risk, although there are
definitely many places that the terrorists might jump on...

In short, if I were a participant, I would certainly want to pick a location
that I had a good chance of surviving in.  :)

Of course, I have seen a chess event in the world trade center, so it might not
always be easy to pick such a "safe site".  :)
