This is exactly what I am intersted in doing. I have downloaded all the egtb's
3, 4 and 5 from hyatts ftp site and they are on my computer. From the above
example it looks as though I can use tbstat on those egtb's or am I
misunderstnading something?

If I am to use the datacomp utility will I permanently chnage the files I
already have on my machine because if that is the case I can make copies of all
of them. I dont want to do a conversion if I cant put them back into their
original format.
