Has someone else noticed that Sparring mode seems to be very weak in F6 (latest patch) and Chess Tiger? I'm a 1200-rated player and I had to work hard to beat F? in Sparring mode set to "easy". Now, I can beat Fritz with ease at each of the sparring mode levels, up to "very hard". Same thing happens when I try the Sparring mode in Chess Tiger 14.0. I don't know if this is a bug or an intentional weakening of the Sparring option by Chessbase, but in either case it makes it useless. Fortunately, the Friend mode is still working right, but although I like to play games using it, I find that using Sparring mode is much more useful for training purposes. Does someone know where I can find the previous patches for Fritz 6. The Chessbase site only offers the latest one for download. Thanks, François Bertin
