Many programs on today's fast hardware will reject 1. Qxb2? quickly. "DarkThought" fails low on 1. Qxb2? in iteration #9 and then locks onto 1. dxe4 after roughly 8 sec on a 600MHz Alpha-21164a. =Ernst=
