No, ChessBase had announced that Shredder 6 will be in Shredder's GUI, but will also include the Shredder engine for Chessbase. This is the most logical model, why would one pay for the same engine just becasue of different GUI? I have Rebel-Tiger, and did not find it logical to buy the ChessBase version although I wanted it.
