Given a choice of a 2ghz machine, or a 2 X 1ghz machine, I would _always_ take
the 2ghz machine.

Knowing that for crafty the 2 x 1ghz machine will run like a 1.7ghz machine,
I would _still_ take the single 1.7ghz machine. But given a choice of a
2 x 1ghz machine vs a 1.2 ghz machine, it would be a no-brainer to choose the
dual.

A single is _always_ better than a dual at approximately equal aggregate clock
speeds.
