you are one of the few here that i always read their posts, because::: your profile says you are or have been 2245 FIDE, you post often, and seem intelligent. you give a human analysis to some test positions, sometime. this is a chess computer forum that you frequent, so you must be a chess program enthusiast. do you have a pc? what mhz? are you disabled? have you experienced some long term misfortune that has caused you to be unemployed? where you in a car accident when you were young, and now you live with your parents on a farm, and all the livestock have died? did your house burn down, and you lost everything, including years worth of chess programs? are you blind and you are waiting for a cd to be released in braille? did you loose both hands in vietnam and cannot use a keyboard, why not voice recognition for your programs? i for one would be willing to contribute to a fund, to purchase you one of the top programs, if you are down on your luck. i do not understand how you can live without the pleasure of owning a program. we must get this chess enthusiast a program. if the pc is the problem, i have an old 200 mhz in the attic that i can send you. you saying you dont own a program reminds me of an experience i had. i was working construction, welding back then. it was always a hot job. a group of these guys would go to a bar after work and tell jokes, and lie a lot. it was fun. lots of laughs. i never started drinking when i was young. so when i got older i would always drink a coke or water when everyone else was trying to get their buzz. i didnt need a buzz, i just enjoyed being with my work friends, and listening to their jokes. but on somedays when it was really hot, and the beer was ice cold, i would drink a beer. but never more than one, and usually didnt finish that one. so---this guy that used to drink a lot, told me that he found it offensive that i could come down there to the bar, have fun, and not drink. kburcham
