Hi thorsten:
If any -or many- program seems to dissapoint you once you are in home,
maybe the problem is with your computer or the configuration of it, not
joke. I myself discovered something of the sort time ago just because
the conf. of my windows was not the best for my windows programs AND DOS
programs. You know that lot of things can be configured in differents
manners, beginning with the virtual mmemory. Better is to put an amount
of it that let windows to handle it. And so and so. Else: the first
commercial versdion of Fritz 5 behaves more or less as you say, I agree,
but not the upgrade. Where the first one did nulle moves, this last get
an edge.
Take a look at your conf. files. Maybe something wrong there. A little
less of speed do a lot of damage in certain programs evaluation
function, but also other weird things happens with minute changes in
conf. of the computer.
