Ah, you were talking about GCC. Sorry. Haven't checked those numbers, but the ones I am looking at are quite clear. 1.4Ghz Athlon: 554 peak 1.4Ghz P4 : 512 peak The 1.5Ghz P4 is also slower. The 1.7Ghz is the first to catch up. P4 faster at same clock speed? Naah. -- GCP
