It does save the games. Whenever I start a tournament I'm prompted for a
directory where the save files are stored. It's a good idea to check that the
files are not stored in WinBoard engine folder. That can happen if you've
installed a couple of engines before you start.

An option to find the savefiles is searching for "Tournament" on your harddisk,
because the default name is "Tournament Date.CMT" and "Tournament Date.pgn".
