I rather would sugest a program as USCF or Virtua chess2 (also if you can get it
Boby Fischer teaches chess) can be fine for a school
Virtuachess has also some lesons in it
SSDF even has all the steps in it
And it does give you a rating after the games you played
aproved by USCF
both programs are not top programs but good for lectures of novice till
intermidiate players
It also copy's the games
Also Chessmaster could be fine
It aslo has some lessons in it and diferent rated players

Fritz and others are a more serious aproge
You also have lectures but mostlikely they are all to dificult

If you want to make copys of the games played with Fritz and you have Office
You simply can copy and paste the games included diagrams if you want that
You only have to say where you want them
Or you simply copy the diagrams 1 by 1 with copy and past diagram
