i have seen some of those benchtests where the alpha is usually at the fast end of the scale when comparing to other processors. wonder about what would the kns be, compared to a dual 1550 palomino, if the dual palomino will hit about 2450 kns? just roughly, wonder what the kns would be on this dual 667 alpha? those scsi drives should sell. that would be some of your money back. definately would be a fun project to play with. kburcham
