I know fritz5 and Junior4.6 can find the right move after less than an
hour
(I do not remember the exact time but I think fritz5 was faster with
less
than 10 minutes on my Pentium200MMX
with big hash tables and Junior needed half an hour)
I know that chess system tal can also find the right move after a long
time
Rafael vaskuez posted it when he answered me about
my question if some program can find it is a draw but
even after more than 24 hours tal did not find it is a draw in spite of
finding
the right move.

The question is if a program can understand it is a draw, otherwise
it may play for this position instead of playing a better move.

the relevant position is:1r6/5kp1/RqQb1p1p/1p1PpP2/1Pp1B3/2P4P/6P1
/5K2 black to move
the right move Qe3
the last moves of the game were 44.Kg1-f1 Rb7- b8
45.Ra8-a6 black resign.
I read that the 44 move was a mistake and better was Kg1-h1
but a computer cannot find it if it does not understand the position is
a draw
after Qe3.
also if deeper blue understood it was a draw at move 45 it would play
another
move(maybe 45.Qd7+)
