If that is not possible, how about giving the user the option to load the "extra" GUI during the installation of the next ChessMaster. In that way, the "serious" chess player can skip the download of the glitzy interface with the minimal GUI load, which I understand takes alot of cpu resources and more emphasis on optimizing The King engine performance. I am not sure how much work this requires, but that's 2 cents opinion. jorge
